These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the True Trucking Dispatch website and services operated by 1 Five Star LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

True Trucking Dispatch provides freight dispatch services for owner-operator truck drivers, including but not limited to load sourcing, rate negotiation, broker communication, paperwork management, compliance support, and payment tracking. Our dispatch fee is 10% of the gross load rate for each load booked through our service.

2. Eligibility

To use our dispatch services, you must:

  • Be an owner-operator with an active Motor Carrier (MC) number
  • Hold a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) number
  • Maintain active cargo and liability insurance
  • Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Be at least 21 years of age

3. Independent Contractor Relationship

Drivers using True Trucking Dispatch services are independent contractors. No employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency is created by these Terms or by use of our services.

4. Dispatch Fee and Payment

The driver agrees to pay True Trucking Dispatch 10% of the gross load rate for each load booked through our service. Payment is due within 48 hours of delivery confirmation or factoring advance. No fee is owed for loads declined before pickup.

5. No Forced Dispatch

True Trucking Dispatch does not force dispatch. All load assignments are presented as options. The driver retains full discretion to accept or decline any load.

6. Driver Responsibilities

The driver is solely responsible for:

  • All operating costs including fuel, maintenance, tolls, and insurance
  • Maintaining active MC authority, DOT registration, and CDL
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Timely submission of BOLs, rate confirmations, and delivery documents
  • IFTA filings, permits, and regulatory compliance

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the dispatch relationship at any time with 7 days written notice via text or email. Outstanding fees for loads already delivered remain due upon termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

True Trucking Dispatch is not liable for cancellations, non-payment by brokers, freight claims, cargo damage, accidents, or any losses arising from the driver's operation of their vehicle. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the prior 30 days.

9. SMS Communications

By opting in to SMS communications through our driver application form, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to dispatch operations, load assignments, and service updates. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on dispatch activity.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in Orange County, Florida.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
